The faculty of law offers specialist courses in public law at graduate level.  The most relevant course is the Masters of Public and International Law.  Students must choose 8 subjects from an extensive list of subjects.  Subjects include:

The Melbourne JD

The Melbourne JD is a intensive law degree designed for graduates from disciplines other than law. Students in the JD (Juris Doctors) program are instructed in the core areas of law prescribed for admission to practice by all jurisdictions in Australia.The 24 subjects required to complete the JD are taught intensively, over 6 consecutive full-time trimesters (2 years).  For a complete list of subjects, please visit the Melbourne Law School's Juris Doctor website.


Other Courses

Staff also teach in other courses offered by other departments of the University, including The Australian Centre for Public Policy. The Centre also develops and conducts tailored courses for individuals and organisations in Australia and from overseas.
